Florence Moncorg-Gabin – daughter of the great French actor Jean Gabin – is directing her first film, “Le Passager de l’t”, out on June 7th, a love story taking place in the heart of France’s country during the 50’s. Prestigious French actors such as Catherine Frot, Laura Smet, Franois Berland or Samuel Le Bihan are starring in this film which will surely be this coming summer’s French blockbuster. She called in Jean-Claude Petit (the score composer of Jean de Florette, Manon des Sources, Cyrano de Bergerac, Les Misrables.) to write and conduct a symphonic hymn to the silent and yet powerful ties that bind the characters. With “Le Passager de l’t”, the multi awarded Jean-Claude Petit returns at last to film music composition with one oh his greatest creative effort to date.
