Nilufer Yanya : Miss Universe (Ltd Coloured (TBC) Galaxy Vinyl Edition) (LRS 2021)

Debut album which follows on from three successfully received EPs from the young singer of Turkish-Irish-Bajan heritage. ‘Miss Universe’ with its muted, harmonic riffs, channels ideas of paranoid thoughts and anxiety, a theme that runs through the album, not least in its conceptual spoken word interludes.
