Update on General Medicine
Section 1 of the BCSC delves into general medicine that influences ophthalmologyfrom endocrine and cerebrovascular diseases to infections, cancer, and neurologic conditions. It focuses on clinical emergencies, ocular surgery management, COVID-19 insights, and includes practical videos and reference tables.
Section 1 of the Academy’s Basic and Clinical Science Course (BCSC) provides thorough information on the general areas of medicine. This section covers endocrine disorders, cerebrovascular disease, infectious diseases, cancer, behavioral and neurologic disorders, and geriatrics.
