Current physical, after-the-fact attempts are like applying plasters to cure cancer: the cause, and hence the illness, persists.
This collection stands out in seeing our social and environmental problems as substantially moral, analysing them and proposinga moral/philosophical cure as follows:
At the root of our ethical climate is personal distortion: wants and drives overriding conscience, with dilution or perverse inversion of core values. This has produced more opportunity for self-expression within its perspective, but priority of self-interest and greed beyond.
