The Chrysler Museum of Art’s collection of European art spans fromthe 14th century to 1945, with particularly robust holdings in Baroque art,including paintings by Peter Paul Rubens, Diego Velazquez, and Guercino;sculpture by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, and Francesco Bertos, paintings by ThomasGainsborough and Angelika Kauffmann, an inlayed brass Mamluk candlestick and an18th-century Brazilian sculpture of Saint Benedict of Palermo.
