James Yorkston works once again with Karl-Jonas Winqvist’s The Second Hand Orchestra. Following the spine-tingling, atmospheric folk of 2021’s ‘The Wide, Wide River’, they involve a third party in the shape of The Cardigans’ Nina Persson on ‘The Great White Sea Eagle’, and once again all of Yorkston’s collaborators recorded in few takes, learning the material ad hoc in the studio.
