On August 30, 1972, JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO/Plastic Ono Band with Elephants Memory and Special Guests headlined two historic ONE TO ONE Concerts at Madison Square Garden, New York City. These charitable benefit shows played to a combined audience of 40,000 people and helped to raise over $1.5 million to support children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They were John Lennons only full-length concerts after leaving The Beatles and the last two full-length concerts that John & Yoko performed together.

Excerpts from the concerts were featured as part of ONE TO ONE – the critically acclaimed documentary about John & Yoko, directed by Kevin Macdonald and Executive Produced by Sean Ono Lennon, and POWER TO THE PEOPLE the films of the concerts, directed by Simon Hilton are due for release next
