Marlon Brando stars in this remake that tells the story of the infamous mutiny aboard HMS Bounty. Once the ship leaves Britain for Tahiti, animosity grows between Captain Bligh (Trevor Howard) and First Lieutenant Fletcher Christian (Brando) during the voyage, due to the former’s tyrannical leadership and brutal treatment of his crew, reaching a climax when they eventually arrive at the island.
