Songs for Sinners is an album about the push and pull of belief: running toward something, running away from it, and living in the charged space between the two. Throughout this LP his second solo album and first in six years Moses Boyd doesnt preach or offer answers. Instead, he makes a record that treats faith as something deeply personal, unstable and human a force that can comfort, unsettle, divide and restore.
