Remedy Entertainment and Laced Records bring the pioneering, unforgettable music of award-winning video game ‘Alan Wake II’ to vinyl. Remedy and Creative Director Sam Lake are perhaps unmatched in their reverence for, and investment in, music in their games. They pursued four main creative strands for the soundtrack: long-time collaborator Petri Alanko (‘Alan Wake’, ‘Quantum Break’, ‘Control’) returned as lead composer, providing a biting yet emotive dramatic horror score, as well as fan favourite janitorial ballad ‘Ytn Y’, sung by Martti Suosalo (Ahti). Music artist Poe and Sam Lake fused consciousnesses to birth four parts of the spiralling, woozy epic ‘This Road’; the end-of-chapter tracks for Wake’s journey through the Dark Place.
