Three years on from his first Sessa album ‘Grandeza’ (2019), So Paulo-born musician Sergio Sayeg presents his second effort. Although it’s a detailed album deeply rooted in Brazil’s modern music traditions from bossa nova to tropiclia, the results are stripped-back and minimalistic in a way that much Brazilian music typically is not.
